The score that gets a place

Qualifying puts a child in the running. It is not an offer.

To qualify
Meet the grammar school standard in the Wirral assessment (Quest, non-Catholic grammar schools).

Who gets the places

Wirral Council says meeting the standard does not guarantee a place. Non-Catholic grammar schools give some priority to children eligible for free school meals who meet the standard, and each school's policy explains the rest.
