Trafford's consortium test changes for September 2028 entry
AGSB, AGGS, Sale, Stretford and Urmston will use FSCE, drawing on KS2 English and maths through the end of Year 5. This cohort tests in September 2027. Summer-of-Year-5 testing starts with September 2029 entry. Exact dates and paper details are still awaiting publication.
Choose the right Trafford route
Our currently advertised timed mocks follow St Ambrose and Loreto. They are separate school routes. They are not mocks of the new five-school consortium assessment.
For the five consortium schools, our English and maths lessons are foundational learning for the announced curriculum, not a copy of the new test.
Choose the right route
Schools near each other can use different tests. Pick the one your child will sit.
