Who can sit the September 2027 test

  • Age

    Children born 1 September 2016 to 31 August 2017.

  • Registering

    Automatic at state-funded Bucks primaries. Everyone else registers. Testing is free.

  • Where you live

    Anyone can sit it, but it only counts for Bucks grammar schools. Places go by catchment and distance.

  • The practice test

    Every child sits an unmarked practice test first.

    One question type per lesson, across verbal skills (half the score), maths and non-verbal reasoning.
