Below 121? The Selection Review
- Fill in the request form. You need the Student ID from the results email.
- Send the full case by 30 October 2026. School reports and teacher letters, plus evidence of anything that affected the test.
- Your child's headteacher can add a summary sheet. It is included unless you opt out.
- Outcomes come on 12 February 2027. A successful review counts the same as scoring 121.
- Most successful reviews were for scores from 110 to 120.
- Name the grammar school on your application by 31 October 2026, whatever the review.

Bucks 11 plus dates: questions parents ask
When does Bucks 11 plus registration open?
For a child in Year 5 now, registration opens in early May 2027 and closes in early June 2027. Children at a state-funded Bucks primary school are registered automatically. Everyone else, including children at Milton Keynes state schools, registers online. It is free.
When is the Bucks 11 plus in 2027?
The Council says early September 2027, with results in mid-October 2027. It gives the exact days nearer the time.
When are Bucks 11+ results?
9 October 2026 for this year's test. Papers received after 18 September get results by 31 October 2026.
What is a Selection Review?
If your child scored below 121, you can ask a panel of two grammar school headteachers and one primary headteacher to look at school evidence. Send the full case by 30 October 2026. Outcomes come on 12 February 2027.
Can we register late?
Only if you can show you have very recently moved to the area. Registration closes at 3pm on the closing day.
