Who gets the places
- Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan naming the school are admitted first.
- Inner Area (157 places): looked-after children, then Kent Test total score order. Up to 5 of these go to boys on free school meals, then Pupil Premium, by score.
- Outer Area (23 places): looked-after children, then Kent Test total score order.
- Distance breaks equal scores, then random allocation. Spare places move to the other area.
- Where you live
- Inner Area: TN1 to TN4, TN8 to TN15, ME18, ME19, TN16 1, TN16 2, DA4 0 and Halstead parish. Everyone else in England is in the Outer Area, which has 23 places.
- Note
- March 2026 cut-offs: 389 in the Inner Area, 403 in the Outer Area. Not every boy on the cut-off was offered a place.
