How is the Medway Test total worked out?

Each paper is age-standardised. The total is 2 × English + 2 × maths + reasoning.

What total qualified for a Medway grammar school?

481 for September 2026 entry. The September 2027 score is set after this year's test and comes with results on 14 October 2026.

Does a qualifying score guarantee a place?

No. It makes a child eligible. Each school then offers places by its own rules, such as siblings and distance.
