The five consortium schools move from GL to FSCE. Here is what changes for each year group.

September 2027, when your child is in Year 6
English and maths, up to the end of Year 5.
FSCE
The end of the summer term of Year 5 (summer 2028)
English and maths, up to the end of Year 5.
What to practise now
- Reading: understanding a passage, word meanings, and spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Maths: everything in the KS2 curriculum up to the end of Year 5, done quickly and without a calculator.
- Verbal reasoning only if you are also applying to Loreto or Saint Ambrose.
