What is 334R?

Accepted Answer

A score moved up to 334 after a review. At Stretford, Pupil Premium children scoring 324 to 333 are moved up automatically, and others in that band can ask for a review. At Urmston, children scoring 321 to 333 can ask for one.

Does 334 get a place?

Accepted Answer

No. Qualifying lets a school consider your child. Each school then fills its places in its own order, by priority group, score or distance.

Will 334 still apply for 2028 entry?

The consortium moves to an FSCE test for 2028 entry and has not published its 2028 qualifying score yet.

Urmston Grammar Academy	334 qualifies, or 334R after a local review. 324 qualifies for Pupil Premium.
Loreto Grammar School	Girls must pass the Governors' Entrance Examination. No number is published.
Saint Ambrose College	320 qualifies. Qualifying does not ensure a place.
